Firmware Update V2.x -> V3.0 by WinOLS V1.817
Because of a problem in the V2.x firmware the modules with that firmware don't work under Vista or Windows7. To solve that problem the firmware must be updated to V3.0.
Until now the BDM100 modules must be sent to EVC. Now this is not necessary any more. Every customer with that problem can update his BDM100 by himself. Therefore he must press in the configuration-BDM-Firmware update. This button only is enabled, if the update is possible.
The update must be done under WinXP ! |

New:
We have now revised the design of the probes, especially regarding the free available length of the pins.
It was too short for some ECUs and contact problems were caused. By leaving out the plastic cover, we have increased the free length by about 6 mm

WinOLS |
New in WinOLS 1.811: Improved support for MP2440P and OLS16.
Unfortunately new notebooks don't provide connectivity for our older products. Therefore we have added an extended address selection, so that PCMCIA cards can be used, which don't use the usual IO addresses.
After intensiv testing of available cards, we can only recommend the Quatech SPP100. It can be purchased at us. |

WinOLS |
New in WinOLS 1.811: Improved handling of ECUs, which contain data in processor and eprom.
Even with the introduction of the BDM projects the foundation was layed for more than one chip with data in one ECU. At that time the order and the assignment was done by the BDM readout.
Now more and more ECUs like the Bosch ME7.1.1 are comming on the market. Mostly these ECU are readout with bootmode tools, so that at least two files must be put into one WinOLS project.
Therefore WinOLS and the corresponding checksums have been improved, so that the importing of the files have got easier. |

We have moved our business hours one hour earlier. So we have opened from 09:00 - 17:00. |

|
OLSxxx |
We have just changed the checksum purchase to a point system. So many checksum modules have got cheaper.
Furthermore there is the possibility to save money by purchasing checksum packages. |
